I've always loved photography and using it to tell stories. I really set out on a mission, though, when I had my kids. I wanted to capture those precious moments that can be all too fleeting so that I could treasure them for a lifetime.
And horses? I've ridden for as long as I can remember. Lessons, trail rides, gymkhanas, vacations.
I trained as an instructor with the British Horse Society and exercised the horses of the British Army's Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment for six years. My focus now is dressage and I’ve trained at yards in London, Toronto and New York, competing and winning some ribbons along the way. If I'm not riding horses, I'm photographing them.
But really, I'll find any and every reason to pick up my camera. I love the feeling of not quite knowing what the day will hold - which moments will be there to capture and how I'll capture them.
